Thrive Alive Vegan Fest features an inspiring lineup of experts in topics related to veganism, health, sustainability, and conscious living.

Our presenters will cover a wide range of topics, including plant-based nutrition, fitness, holistic wellness, substance-free living, authentic connection, and compassion for all beings. From wonderful plant-based chefs and nutrition experts, to passionate activists and musicians, Thrive Alive offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn, grow, connect and PLAY in a vibrant, supportive community.

    Reggae Artist

    Mike is a musician devoted to revolution through sound. Born on O’ahu, Hawaii to a family of musicians, Mike has used music as a conversation for as long as he can remember. He comes from a unique convergence of influences, yet all are bound by their common ambition to inspire positive change in the world. He releases his music independently on his own Love Not War Records label & his sound, while rooted in the spirituality & message-based music of roots reggae, fuses a variety of influences including progressive & classic rock, soul, blues, flamenco, jazz, classical & more!

    Mike’s songs possess wisdom & seek to instill change, whether it be regarding issues of the environment, animal cruelty, or personal growth. They are about being conscious & mindful as human beings living among so many other life forms on this beautiful planet. For Mike, music is a form of healing, learning & growing.

    Dahlia Marin, RDN, LD, CGN & James Marin, RD, EN are the co-founders of the integrative dietetics & nutrition practice Married to Health, the Good Gut LIVE Podcast & the first 100% plant-based SIBO/IBS nutrition program. As integrative gut healthdieticians, Dahlia & James’ goal is to spread knowledge about the importance of incorporating plant-foods to support a healthy gut microbiome & help those with gut issues get back to a thriving gut microbiome, so they can ‘Heal with Each Meal (TM)”.

    Sustainability Expert, Climate Healers

    Dr. Sailesh Rao is a systems engineer turned environmental advocate who received his Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1986. After pioneering the digital signal processing protocol for 1000BASE-T, a foundation of modern internet infrastructure, he pivoted in 2006 to address the climate & ecological crisis. Dr. Rao is the author of several books, including Carbon Dharma & Carbon Yoga & Executive Producer of acclaimed documentaries like Cowspiracy, What The Health, & Christspiracy. He is also the founder & executive director of the organization Climate Healers & his work has been featured in Countdown to Year Zero & recognized by The Guardian as that of a “Climate Hero” for championing systemic change. Dr. Rao is a leading voice in the global movement toward a just & livable planet.

    Erin & Dusty Stanczyk

    Eat, Move, Rest

    Erin & Dusty are certified health & lifestyle coaches, online content creators, authors, international retreat hosts & founders of Eat Move Rest.

    In her 20s, Erin found herself in a severe state of dis-ease both physically & mentally. Tangled up in a sticky web of confusion with no answers from doctors, she decided to take things into her own hands. With Dusty by her side, they discovered food as medicine & a whole food plant-based diet. They began attending conferences & online trainings & put their newfound knowledge into practice.

    Jamie Logan

    Vegan Activist & Content Creator

    Jamie is a passionate vegan activist, content creator & animal rights advocate. Her journey began at age 13 after witnessing a livestock truck & realizing the connection between her pet & the animals being transported for slaughter. By 18, Jamie had fully transitioned to veganism. She’s actively involved in Anonymous for the Voiceless, organizing disruptions, bearing witness at slaughterhouses & creating films to raise awareness about animal rights. As the host of Jamie’s Corner podcast, Jamie discusses health, wellness, spirituality, & activism, inspiring others to live in alignment with their values. Jamie continues to be a powerful voice in the movement for animal liberation & ethical living.

    Adam Sud

    Behavior Change & Nutrition Expert

    Adam is a nationally recognized speaker & wellness advocate who overcame addiction, chronic disease & obesity through a plant-based lifestyle & deep personal transformation. In 2012, after surviving a suicide attempt & weighing nearly 350 pounds, Adam embraced recovery, lost 175 pounds, reversed his health conditions & began a journey of healing through nutrition & mindset.     Gigi Jones, known as Gigi The Vegan, is a wellness pioneer, plant-based chef & founder of Midwest Soul Vegfest, the largest vegan health festival in the Midwest. After overcoming colon cancer in 2016 through a holistic, plant-based lifestyle, Gigi became a vibrant advocate for healing through food. She’s the founder of Gigi’s Vegan + Wellness Café in Kansas City, a sanctuary offering organic, plant-based dishes & wellness programs. Gigi also leads the KC Health Initiative, educating underserved communities on plant-based living & sustainability. Through her speaking, coaching & wellness offerings, Gigi empowers others to rejuvenate their bodies, minds & souls… one delicious bite at a time!

    Rooted in Columbus, OH, Kofdrop is a traveling DJ & event producer who transforms dance floors into sacred journeys. For him, music & movement are pure medicine & every set is crafted to take you deeper. He’s brought his immersive sound to ecstatic dances, festivals & gatherings across the country... from Boulder to Portland, Asheville to Philly & he’s shared the stage with luminaries like Mose, Liquid Bloom, Equanimous, Savej & Mystic Grizzly to name a few! Beyond his DJ sets, Allan is a passionate advocate for plant-based living & holistic wellness. He integrates his love for music with his commitment to health, offering a unique fusion of sonic exploration & mindful movement.

    Derrick Broze

    The Conscious Resistance Network

    Derrick is an investigative journalist, author, documentary filmmaker & activist based in Houston, Texas. Since 2010, he’s worked to expose corruption & empower individuals through local independence. Derrick’s activism spans from co-founding The Conscious Resistance Network to founding The Freedom Cell Network, which builds local activist communities. He’s dedicated to reducing government & corporate control, advocating for environmental justice & protecting civil liberties. Derrick’s work includes co-hosting Live Free, Think Free on 90.1 KPFT, publishing five books, speaking internationally & running for Mayor of Houston. He continues to inspire through education, media & grassroots organizing for a more independent, free society.

    Miriam Gomez

    Artist & Meditation Facilitator

    Miriam is a visual artist, permaculturist, community organizer & meditation facilitator. Since 2013, she has led over 150 guided meditations, including at events across the U.S. & Mexico with her partner Derrick Broze. Miriam’s meditation practice focuses on deepening trust, compassion & inner healing to support both individual & collective growth. As a visual artist, she creates hand-made wood-burned mandalas & murals, offering them as prayers for harmony. Miriam is co-organizer of The People’s Reset & co-founder of The Conscious Agora in Morelia, Mexico, where she works to build Free & Conscious communities centered around permaculture & regenerative living. She also teaches Extra Ocular Vision to expand consciousness in children.

    Shannon Blair

    Vegan Activist

    Shannon is a lifelong activist & Certified Vegan Lifestyle Coach & Educator who’s been speaking out for animals since age 9. After two decades as a vegetarian, watching Cowspiracy awakened her to the cruelty of the dairy & egg industries—prompting an overnight shift to veganism alongside her young son, VeganEvan. Today, Shannon is the President of Solutionary Species, a co-organizer for Plant Based Treaty Florida & the Plant-Based Community Coordinator at Solid Rock Community School. Since 2017, she & her family have traveled nationwide & beyond to educate, advocate & inspire compassionate action. Her mission: fight for animal liberation & a better future for her son & all beings.

    Vegan Evan is the world’s youngest Certified Vegan Lifestyle Coach & Educator, a graduate of Main Street Vegan Academy & a passionate voice for animals & the planet. As a youth ambassador for Solutionary Species & APlantBasedDiet.org, Evan has spoken at major events nationwide—including Central Florida Earth Day, VegFest Oahu, & the Animal Rights National Conference. He’s been part of powerful campaigns with Million Dollar Vegan, advocating at COP26 & helping spark global conversations on plant-based solutions. Whether he’s rapping, leafleting, protesting, or rescuing animals, Evan brings unstoppable energy & heart to every cause. He’s on a mission to create a compassionate, sustainable world… & he’s just getting started!

    Alyssa Sikora

    Iyengar Yoga Teacher

    Alyssa is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT) & a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with over 500 hours of training. Her teaching style includes a focus on alignment for optimal physical wellness, a playfulness for trying new things & an emphasis on yoga philosophy. She's been vegan for 12 years, previously serving as a PCRM Food for Life Instructor & earned a certification as a Plant-Based Chef through the Rouxbe Cooking School. Alyssa teaches classes at Yoga Center of Denver (Denver, CO) & Yogi Colorado (Aurora, CO). Alyssa has led yoga sessions at events like Vegan Summerfest (the conference featured in the film Vegucated) in Johnstown, PA & the Colorado Vegfest. Alyssa serves as a board member of the Intermountain Iyengar Yoga Association (IMIYA). When she’s not teaching yoga, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband, homeschooling her kids, & love to snowboard, hike, camp, thrift & read.

    Baker, Fermentor & Author

    Michelle is the founder of Simply Naked, a gluten-free, dairy-free, plant-based micro bakery in St. Petersburg, FL. She also manages fermentation at Beech Kombucha, crafting 170 seasonal kombucha flavors annually. With a degree in health promotion & nutrition, Michelle healed lifelong illnesses through a plant-based lifestyle & has authored nine raw vegan e-books. She hosts garden-to-table dinners using local & wild ingredients & teaches classes on chocolate making & allergy-friendly desserts. Passionate about health & nature, she spends her free time foraging, traveling & beach walking. Currently, she's working on her next book, Daily Ferments.

    In addition to meditation, he expresses his artistic side through rap, singing & woodworking. He’s very passionate about brain balancing exercises & hill walking & his favorite fruit to pick & eat is the pawpaw, symbolizing his love for natural, nourishing living.

    Vera Galaxy is a collective healer, devoted to soul remembrance and heart-led living. She teaches yoga, guides cacao ceremonies, and offers intuitive sound healing with crystal bowls, voice, and vibration.     Seth is a writer, educator & advocate for holistic health & plant-based living.     Improv Facilitator

    Jeff is a Massachusetts-based improviser, teacher & professional enthusiast. He’s been making things up on stage for 7 years & off stage for much longer.

    Jeff is the founder of MassProv, a nonprofit on a noble quest to make improv more accessible, affordable & slightly weirder across the Bay State. His teaching style is equal parts heart, chaos, and hilarity - with an emphasis on fun, connection & the occasional emotional breakthrough disguised as a fart joke.

    Plant-Based Nutrition Coach

    Stacey Heiny is a former Pilates studio owner turned Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Plant-Based Nutrition Coach, & founder of The Herban Farmacy - a wellness brand rooted in science, simplicity & self-care. She offers high-level, one-on-one coaching for women ready to reclaim their energy, confidence, & well-being through a holistic lifestyle.

    With over 16 years of personal experience living plant-based, Stacey brings both real-life wisdom & professional insight to her work. She’s interviewed over 150 experts in the wellness space & is a recurring guest on local news segments, where she shares evidence-based, practical health tips.

    After overcoming the Pleasure Trap & healing from processed food addiction and other lifestyle-related conditions, Stacey helps women break free from patterns that hold them back from vibrant health.

    She’s a top leader with Olive Tree People, the brand behind the world’s first waterless skincare. 

    Stacey & her husband, Kyle, own an organic market farm in Noblesville, Indiana, where they grow nutrient-rich produce & share their passion for healthy living with their son, Koen.

    Rebecca Pedinotti

    Head Chef

    Rebecca is a passionate chef whose love for fresh, local ingredients led her to earn an M.A. in Food & Culture from NYU. While studying, she served as Director of Communications for a farmers market organization & volunteered with Edible Schoolyard in Brooklyn, merging food education with practical community engagement. Her culinary roots run deep - growing up, she learned the craft working alongside her father in the kitchen of her family’s restaurant in Saratoga, NY. Rebecca has since cooked for several catering companies & NYC restaurants & furthered her wellness education at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, embracing a holistic approach to nourishment. Rebecca currently lives in Saratoga Springs with her husband, daughter & dog, creating & preparing vegetarian & vegan dishes at the Mouzon House, a farm to table event space & supper club.
